      There is one of these vaping/phone repair/money laundering shops in my area. They started out sketchy AF but have gone full tilt into phone repair. They hired a bunch of staff and seem to have a fair amount of traffic in and out. I got a laptop done with them, new battery as well as data retrieval and they did a fantastic job. The staff recently got uniforms. Always thought it was funny that they managed to (hopefully) go straight.

      These places really do drag the place down everywhere.
      Make no mistake they make plenty of money off our kids who don’t get served in supermarkets, Dealz or a proper vape shop yet they’re all deeply addicted to their disposables.
      I see it in rural towns where these shops have been popping up. See all the school uniforms congregating, vaping around the corner and in the archway at school break times.

      If anybody asks I was in there for the American candy right?

      There was one in Drogheda done the other day for selling pre-rolled joints among other things and only open a week. As I was passing today I notice there’s other new vape shop open a few doors up.

      The amount of these set up are mad around every town/city. I get the speculation on the money laundering aspect but I haven’t seen definitive proof of that happening anywhere. Is not just the fact that everything they sell can be bulk purchased for dirt cheap and sold at a huge markup? Sure the rent is high, but if you’re stock is cheap, repairing a phone is a piece of piss and you don’t employ staff, then surely you get by handy enough? They probably make a fortune on trend items such as Labubus for awhile and then it’s on to the next thing. All the while they’re selling cheap tech, vapes, confectionery and charging 100 an hour to repair a phone.

      I’m spotting a trend…every major city in Europe where uber, airbandb, food delivery apps, gig economy apps, need to penetrate, but can’t, because locals aren’t interested in doing these shitty gigs, they seem to import cheap labour by incentivising, one way or another, the promise of a better life in the civilised West, to war or poverty riden countries, where people, out of dispair, would rather live with other 20 strangers in a single bedroom, work day and night delivering food on a bike, to pursue that personal dream, the winners, are those platforms that now have cheap gig workers, and those who exploited the opportunity to sell their countrymans to this fake distopian dream.

      This is modern slavery, human trafficking, mass psychosis and lack of consciousness by those that shout racism at this problem, while eating their justeat, delivered by an unprivilged victim, and after, go protest the house prices by getting an uber and getting an air bandb rented by economical financial player that exploited the blood and life of local economies, cultures and ultimately humanity from all of us humans.

      Often, these players, are also politicians, law makers, etc… that gain from their investments in these areas, and don’t want to let go the cash cow in exchange of solving a real problem. These politicians are the first ones to signal any solution or conversation towards it, as racism or xenophobia…
