We stand apart from cable television, monolithic streaming services, and national networks in our commitment — and obligation — to be stewards of the public airwaves and to protect and reflect the specific sensibilities of our communities.”

      Nexstar added: “To be clear, our commitment to those principles has guided our decisions throughout this process, independent of any external influence from government agencies or individuals.”

      So the mouse house told them how much money this stunt cost them already, and how much money iit would cost would cost Sinclair after Disney pulls their programing . And how much the companies that already bought ads were going to sue for, I think they had a change of heart.

      They were waiting for Jimmy to rant about Trump one more time before putting him back on. He shouldn’t rant even harder that he’s back on to twist the knife more to Sinclair and Nexstar

      Let this be a reminder to everyone that when we fight we win. I never thought Jimmy Kimmel a guy I don’t really think is that funny personally would be used as a rallying cry to finally wake people up but I’m glad it happened.

      I’d like to think the threat of losing NFL football games would be a big motivator.

      But that is just me and wishful thinking.

      Boycotting advertisers in my city got them moving. They only care about money. Speak their language.

      I predicted back in in 2001 that by 2025, Jimmy Kimmel would be the most politically relevant and effective Democrat, but everyone just thought I was high. I was high, but I was also correct.
