      I was going to rant how much I hate it when people crop out the timestamp of a post, and that I remember she Tweeted this over a month ago. Except no, this was from yesterday.

      These people always do this. Always keeping their followers on the edge of their seat by waving their hand vaguely at something and saying „This isn’t right, something is happening.“ If you ever wonder why American’s attention span is so shot, look no further than the 24/7 culture war grifters that make up such a large part of the media sphere.

      Seriously, watch interviews of these sort of viewers at a MAGA rally. Their brain has been turned to mush with the constant bombardment of „this thing is happening! Proof in 2 weeks!“, but never actually getting that proof. The end result is them stammering through a bunch of things that didn’t happen all mixed together into a single idea, and when pressed even slightly for a coherent thought on what they just said they sort of just shut down.

      Are they scared the anti-immigrant well is running dry now that we’ve all seen that the vast majority of detainees (re: glorified kidnapping victims) have been hardworking manual laborers rather than the thousands of MS-13 and other gangs that Don swore up and down plague every city and state?

      One thing I remember so vividly is how everyone came together after 9/11. The country was fairly divided then, the whole hanging chad thing was still fresh in peoples minds. Then 9/11 changed everyone and it was the last time I remember there being no republicans and no democrats, only Americans. While I hope nothing like that happens again I also hope for something that unites everyone. That would be wonderful.
