      The Danny Kruger effect is a cognitive bias where people with low competence in a specific area overestimate their own abilities because their lack of knowledge prevents them from recognizing their own shortcomings.

      Birmingham and Bradford are still quite a few years away from being majority Muslim. Blackburn with Darwen and Luton not too far behind.

      The towns of Tower Hamlets and Newham were pretty close to being majority Muslim in 2021 and will be by the next census. Certain wards are majority though.

      Obviously majority is a bit different to “entire cities”

      In these cities, the only way you’re allowed to walk in the streets is to catch Sadiq Khan when he visits the local Sharia Court, partake in a swan roast with him, and get a special permit.

      The blasé attitude in this sub towards immigration is the type of thing to drive people towards reform. You’re too busy calling people racist and dismissing people on the right.

      I’ll never vote reform (mainly because their immigration stance is extreme and full of shit) but I will not be shocked when they win because the majority of voters are being ignored or belittled for their anti-immigration stance.

      Arguing that ~37% of cities ISN’T a majority, while correct, is not the strong argument that you think it is. Extrapolate that data and see where it ends up.

      The real problem here is how it’s possible to emerge from the education system with an epistemology flawed enough to allow you to believe any religion is true.

      The solution is education reform to promote epistemology over economic viability but that might require changing how we incentivise society and people don’t like change even if it’s good for everyone.

      To be fair a Muslim geezer moved in next to me and I converted a week later and I’m off to mecca next week so maybe he has a point
