Port Nelson? Interesting we tried to build a major port there during the 1900s and the 1910s. It didn’t work partially due to the first world war, partly due to the harsh weather and of course the constant need to dredge the port.
It’ll take a lot of work building a railroad and road as well as l reconstructing a port there if that’s what the article is implying.
Still if it can benefit our economy I’m all for it
For those unaware, this was previously attempted over 100 years ago. WW1 derailed the project.

The good news, decent chance the rail bed, while requiring work of course, will already have a base.
Bad news, the problems of silt haven’t gone away. If you look at google maps, you can see the build up around the old bridge they built there during the original project. And that bridge might need to be removed to move forward.
Still, it may be a good place to do this. It’s not far from the existing rail lines to Churchill, so the need to build everything from scratch is lessened.
