    1. Funny thing is that there are enough people around who wanted to prepare stuff like this but the answer at least from my govt is always:
Naah we need the money for pensions

It’s about time to learn – after 4 years of observation. FFS.

    3. NATO should have created special drone forces years ago, and learn from Ukraine everything about how to use and counter them.

    4. hahaha, did anybody think of going after where they make them or where they send the from..? oh well build more billion dollar rockets..

    5. if there would be a country that recently introduced a system that downs these things for 3 dollars. it would be too bad if we would anatagonize it for no other reasons than centuries old antisemitic obsessions.

Old news. Plenty of new systems coming out of the NATO defense industry that don’t use missiles to shoot down cheap drones.

Missiles are only used against bigger, faster stuff these days.

    7. close down Russian embassies in the whole of the EU and kick out all „diplomats“ (spy handlers), cooperate with Ukraine on hostile espionage against Russia, retaliate in kind against all hacking, doxxing and hybrid sabotage attacks.. literally fortify all borders with Russia and Belarus, cut all internet cables..

let Ukraine lease diesel electric submarines and have them close down Russian shipping…

    8. However, Rutte is right: the Ukrainians are the most expert in shooting down drones, we will use their experience and they will thus return the favor for the help given

    9. The Ukrainian frontlines have been *THE* testbed for all of the latest newfangled toys of NATO.

Anti-Drone tech is probably being rolled out amongst NATO members right now or will be at the least in the near future.

    10. We need some sleek prop fighters with ai guided machine guns. Proper retrofuturism.

Let’s send drones to Russia and see how they manage it as a return favour.

NATO wouldn’t be worried about shooting down RuZZian drones now if they had had the testicular fortitude of helping Ukraine end this years ago.

    13. Time to get some biplanes and turboprop planes up in the air again. Take down those pesky drones with a salvo of buckshot or machine gun fire.

    14. In the end it’s all about money, prolonguing the war, red carpet for putin, soft-hand for terrorists, washington already puppeteing another englishman to mess in middle east, rinse and repeat.

    15. Its good that we’re not converting our lines for anti drone warfare, we already have some exciting new stuff being tested in Ukraine which might make drones irrelevant.

    16. I’m fairly sure that while the politicians are “slowly learning,” the military folks have been all over this since forever.
