      Vance saw an opportunity to advance himself by becoming a Trump toadie and he took it . No morals, no ethics, just power. Not by serving the voters, nor the country. Just himself and his bank account. He’s also giddily waiting for the 25th to be invoked.

      If Democrats stop calling Trump „Hitler,“ how will Republicans and conservatives know who to vote for? If we stop calling nazis nazis, how will they know who best aligns with their values? These are people who blamed the attack on the capitol on antifa. But when they knew Trump called his fellow fascists „patriots“ and promised to pardon them, he got the popular vote.

      One issue is that right wing lunatics and conspiracy nuts spent decades screaming about government control and wannabe dictators. They had no reasoning behind it other than delusion and hate.

      However, self proclaimed „moderates“ who aren’t exactly interested in digging any deeper than headlines, think gun nut militias running around the woods talking about tyrant Democrats are no different than researchers and watch dog groups sounding the alarm bells about fascism.

      There are a scary number of people who despite hating Trump, still think this is just politics as usual. They refuse to accept or are perhaps too ignorant to realize that none of this is normal and that democracy is under a very real attack.
