What the headline fails to mention is that some workers believed to be working for the cull, and their families, are being targeted by death threats. The farm’s owner is posting target lists of such businesses on social media.
This is a crazy situation, and once again these threats don’t appear to be getting the seriousness they deserve from the authorities because the perpetrators aren’t a minority. This is basically incitement of stochastic terrorism.
WTF is with this place? Seemed like a totally normal cull order blew up.
Now we have death threats against people involved and it’s orchestrated by the farm owners?
And the ostriches are getting a stay of execution? I guess that’s fine if it’s medically sound.
I guess they could test the birds again, but I dunno anything about bird flu or why that isn’t a thing. And now they want the PM to fly into this, like it isn’t ridiculous already. Like it’s even his jurisdiction, really.
