    1. Given the current US situation I expect the final outcome, without any irony, to be:

      • Mangioni’s right to a *fair* trial has absolutely been destroyed

      • Mangioni has to go to trial *anyway*

      • No one involved in making the trial unfair will suffer any consequences for it

    2. And yet they think the Tyler Robertson is going to get the firing squad on live prime time tv.

That boy getting sent to the looney bin, preferably alongside laura loomer, and it’s because we have the most incompetent people that the legal field has to offer running things.

The article provides a long list of inflammatory and prejudicial statements. It seems like it is far in excess of what should be adequate to receive a dismissal with prejudice.

They couldn’t convict or come close to convicting the sandwich guy and he obviously did it.

that goes for any case being tried or covered by maga. they don’t understand facts and they especially don’t understand the right to a fair trial. as we’re seeing with luigi and kilmar garcia.

    6. Don’t worry! Pam Bondi will make sure to handle this with fairness and without total bias!

    7. It’s almost as if appointing corrupt and inexperienced loyalists to positions of power they’re not qualified for somehow leads to constant amateur hour fuckups.

What you charge someone with is actually a really important question. If you charge them with the wrong thing, the whole trial can fall apart before it starts.

    9. Interesting bit of history….60 years ago in Dallas, Jack Ruby was convicted of murdering Lee Harvey Oswald, which was filmed live, on television. The conviction was thrown out on appeal because it was impossible for Ruby to have received a fair trial in Dallas.

He died of cancer before any re-trial–technically dying an innocent man.

Trump DOJ is basically going to destroy what most likely was a slam dunk case.

Of course MAGA will spin it as a leftist judge let a murder go free but ignore the fact that Trump DOJ is breaking the rules and constitution rights.

This must be the dumbest DOJ ever. What happens if this guy walks because of the ridiculous and inept behavior of Trump’s DOJ? I’m guessing it would be Biden’s fault?

Pam’s job is to kiss Trump’s ass. There’s no way she’s going to do her job properly because she hasn’t shown she can even do anything. I’m hoping things turn out OK for Luigi.

Even if he could have a fair trial, wouldn’t jury nullification come into play? See the lack of prosecutions in DC

Pfft this could have been a closed case easy. of course these dip shits would bungle it.

Fast forward that shit. She will just do whatever the orange one tells her to do.

    16. If it’s going to Bondi then they will absolutely violate Mangione’s right to a fair trial.

You know reddit is in decline when the quality of the posts from the armchair law experts is so low-effort. Sad.
