Yeah, I’m totally ok with this. The Chapman family are good people that take care of their employees, we should be supporting companies like this.
For those unaware, among other things, they refused to lay people off during the pandemic, and when they had a manufacturing facility burn down, they continued to pay their employees during the whole time it took to rebuild it.
Wonderful ice cream and from what I’ve read about them, as a company, it is well deserved. I, too, will hoard a small load of their super premium ice cream whenever I get a chance.
It would be nice if it wasn’t completely free and in return the government can get equity. Then we could all own a small piece of Chapman’s.
Love them. They make solid peanut and nut free ice cream, which can be hard to find, so I’ve come to rely on their brand for that.
