    1. I hope someone is keeping a list of everyone under Trump, committing every one of their crimes, somewhere…when the pendulum swings the other way, Democrats are going to be *VERY* busy, holding them accountable.

Like I said, I *HOPE* lol

Brendan Carr AKA Joseph Goebbels is a sh*t stain on our democracy.

Funny how the President will slash through government bodies left, right and centre but when it suits his ego, all of a sudden, a federal institution is King.

I saw render legacy local media useless. Disney and ABC go streaming.

    5. Carr is a colossal piece of shit. And now we all know it. Fealty and stupidity. Not smart.

It’s almost like he’s following some set of guidelines:

      * **Weaponizing the Federal Communications Commission (FCC):** Project 2025 calls on the FCC to cut back on efforts to address broadband affordability and digital equity and to bully tech companies into reducing content moderation efforts.

Nexstar and Sinclair don’t carry the show, ABC should stream it. More people watch TV that way anyway. Take away football games from those affiliates and stream those too. If it can’t be done because of contracts, put Kimmel in the broadcast booth, see how dedicated to their so-called principles NextSin really is.

Going to put this again, this man is only 46 years old. That’s a hard looking 46.

Meanwhile Brian Kilmeade on Fox wants the homeless to be killed. Interesting stuff.

Interesting that he frames the publicly traded broadcast conglomerate Sinclair as just mere “local TV stations” in his statement, as if they’re some little guys that are banding together.

Carr’s statement is inaccurate – two corporations are making their ‘voices heard’ not dozens of independent stations. This isn’t some organic grassroots movement.

    12. Maybe it’s time to leave television behind. Who is even watching cable or satellitte anymore? I feel like it’s the new AOL. It’s not that I have a problem with it, really. I used to adore TV. These days I refuse to watch anything with a commercial, so that’s a thing. I just feel like decentralizing via the internet is the only way to vote with our dollars on this one.

Fuck was the whole point of this to let affiliates be ANoTHER cultural filter for right wing. Fml

    14. Oh, that multibillion dollar “local station”. Gag me. Everything they do and say is couched in bs lies designed to push their agenda.

    15. Ah, yes, very interesting. Anyways, I’ll be watching Kimmel, and Carr can kick rocks.

    16. Yep now its a David and Goliath narrative in reverse.

Now the big bad corporation is *making* the smaller channels air Kimmell.

(FTR, Im on Kimmels side, but this spin was predictable)

„Easy way or the Hard Way“

„OH no, the bug bad corporation is beating up the little guy im empowering!“
