The people ignoring this are the same people who freaked out that Clinton met with Barack Obamas attorney general for a few minutes on the tarmac when Clinton was running for president.
Don’t forget that it was the Republican Congress members (after press exposure and lengthy Congressional investigations) that forced Nixon to resign or face impeachment.
Today’s Republican-controlled Congress and SCOTUS are complicit.

I watched All The President’s Men over the weekend as a salute to the late Robert Redford. I somehow had never seen it. I marvelled at how different that would all go down now.
I saw a screenshot of the message. It obviously wasn’t the first time he’s sent something like that. I believe she promised in her confirmation hearing to be independent. Haul her in front of a the judiciary committee. Nothing will happen but at least there will be public questioning to give this more penetration into the zeitgeist.
