It is legitimately tragic how we went from smoking nearly dying out to vaping becoming so commonplace. Juul’s marketing team has so much to answer for (that they never will).
Lung cancer rates may reduce, but the heart and stroke ramifications (along with the financial ramifications) will still remain.
I was born in 93 – I was young enough to witness how dumb and gross cigarettes were, and too old to be pressured socially to vape. When my friend was dating a guy from a vape shop and began vaping herself… I told her she was a moron. Years later… still vaping.
Vapes got my (adult) daughter off cigarettes, we need to keep vapes as a harm reduction tool.
If the feds do a flavour ban, my fear is that she’ll start smoking again.
So many much worse things out there, but they target the vice that has saved so many people from the health issues of cigarettes.
