    1. I love how he is utterly unable to have a shred of empathy for another human being and not make anything not about himself

    2. No surprise — Herr Trump has exploited hatred, racism, xenophobia, and fear of people who look different since he rode down the golden escalator in 2015 by attacking Mexicans as rapists, murders, drug dealers, „and, I assume, a few good people.“ This has escalated dramatically in the Fourth Reich, because the motherfucker has nothing else to sell to his ignorant, ‚unedumacated‘ base, taking into account all his campaign promises were lies and he has completely failed to deliver.

Cue to GOP machine telling us not to listen to the very words we hear…

      > “That’s where I disagreed with Charlie. **I hate my opponent. And I don’t want the best for them**, I’m sorry,” he said as the crowd roared with laughter. “I am sorry Erika. But now Erika can talk to me and the whole group, and maybe they can convince me that that’s not right. But I can’t stand my opponent.”

      E; and his supporters agree;

      > he said **as the crowd roared with laughter**.

When the widow came out an said that she forgives her husband’s killer, I was genuinely moved. What a hard thing, arguable a Christian thing, to say. It was a message that I thought might result in some form of unity.

Then Stephen Miller did his impression of What if Adolph Hitler had the charisma of a Preying Mantis, and Trump stumbled up to the mic and said, „Fuck what that lady said, we need to kill all these bastards.“

Even if she didn’t mean it (I am not shitting on her for not meaning it, your husband being murdered violently in public takes time to process and it is really hard to forgive someone for such a horrid action especially quickly.) The sentiment absolutely is appreciated with all the divisive rhetoric around his death. And Orange mango idiot goes complete asshole and washes it all away. Also lol at the widow not being the last to speak at her own husbands funeral because god forbid the women gets the last word.

Look, folks, they’re saying I “shit all over” Charlie Kirk’s widow’s message. And you know what? Maybe I did, maybe I didn’t — but if I did, it was the classiest, cleanest, most beautiful bowel movement you’ve ever seen. People are calling it historic.

Her message was weak, frankly — very sad, very low energy. Everyone said it, not just me. And when I responded, the Fake News says, “Trump shit all over it.” Well, let me tell you something: it wasn’t just a dump, it was a Trump Dump, the best kind. Nobody does it better. Believe me.

Joe Biden couldn’t do it, Hillary couldn’t do it, Obama never could — they’d make a total mess, folks, total disaster. But me? Perfect aim, perfect timing. People stood up and applauded. Some even cried tears of joy, they said, “Sir, that was incredible, nobody’s ever done that before at a memorial.”

And by the way — the widow? She’ll be fine. She got more attention from me than she ever got from Charlie, and everyone knows it. Sad!

    7. Congratulations to The New Republic for actually calling it like it is.

I hope other outfits take note.

So, the wife likened her racist husband to Jesus Christ, and then Dump incited violence. So much wrong here, I just can’t with these evil ppl

    9. AnohtosAmerikanos on

A good national leader would’ve taken any sliver of good will from a memorial and used it to call for unity and a de-escalation of political violence. Trump does the complete opposite. He is the most destructive American leader we’ve ever had, including those that preceded Lincoln. I look forward to reading about the victory of “natural causes” sometime soon.

    10. The weaponization of Kirks death is fucked up. I didn’t like the guy, I don’t think that violence was the answer, but damn. MAGA and the Trumplicans are demanding they should be allowed to kill registered Democrats. I have also heard some talk about hunts. Trump is a scumbag, pretending to care one moment and then not giving a crap the next.

    11. Did she say thank you? I mean, he had to miss the construction progress of the WH ballroom for this.

    12. AsparagusDue6067 on

So Trump just said that he hates his opponents and wish them no well. Anyone knows if ANY leader of ANY country in the world have ever said that about half of his countrymen?

    13. CouchLubricant on

And she loves it. She probably fucking hated Charlie too and now is probably getting a Brink’s truck full of cash dropped off at her door every week

    14. phillygirllovesbagel on

Kirk has been so much more useful to MAGA dead than he ever could have been alive.

It’s the good cop bad cop routine from a very shitty movie. Everything this administration does can be explained if you can imagine it from the lens of WWE. This entire presidency is one giant WWE episode

NOW THIS is what headlines should look like regarding this asshole!!!! Instead of the innocent sanewashed bullshit

      Good old Christian values here.

      “Honor thy neighbor”

      nah, more like

“Cheat, lie, and stab thy neighbor and then blame it on the brown people living down the street”

When is just one packed artery going to do the world a friggin’ favour.

And she was happy for him to do it. As long as she got attention. And money. She knows exactly what trump is and who he is and she was fine with using her husband’s murder and funeral for trump’s hateful and dangerous message. If it were about bringing people to Christ or honoring her husband’s life,  she would not have allowed this funeral to become a trump rally . It was a political circus and trump and his cabinet brought the clowns.

He has absolutely no capacity to embrace empathy at all. I don’t think it’s possible. He has an absolutely no morals either . He’s completely amoral.

How the hell did a man with the speaking and writing skills of a 9 year old with a learning disability get to where he is in life ? How did tens of millions look at such an absolute idiot and think “yeah let’s let’s give him full control of a nuclear arsenal”. I cannot wrap my head around it at all.

There are zero redeeming qualities to the man on a basic , human level . None at all. He’s a terrible person on every level .

I like this tapdance she did, as well:

      > „Trump was referencing the slight 180 that Erika Kirk has done in her messaging since her husband’s killing. Initially, she claimed that “the evildoers responsible for my husband’s assassination have no idea what they have done.… If you thought that my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you have just unleashed across this entire country.”…“

      Hey, great, lady.

Now that they found out its some white Mormon dude, she is all about forgiveness.

They will still call the left violent, though.

    22. >“That’s where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponent. And I don’t want the best for them, I’m sorry,” he said as the crowd roared with laughter. “I am sorry Erika. But now Erika can talk to me and the whole group, and maybe they can convince me that that’s not right. But I can’t stand my opponent.”

He’s calling for political violence against his „perceived“ enemy. That can’t end well.

    23. surloc_dalnor on

Honestly though his widow being in charge of his organization really isn’t in keeping with Kirk professed beliefs.

    24. The audience applauded both Trump’s “I hate my opponent” and Erika Kirk’s “I forgive him” (the “him” being her late husband’s assassin). Make that make sense, please.
