Is it me or does that seem a tad low for where people were expecting the % to be?

Some articles made it seem it was going to be ~80% approval.

Wonder if this is a classic keep the leader and change a heck of a lot around the leader type of thing.

    2. Think the next election will probably be the OLP’s to lose. If I had to guess I’d assume Ford retires in 2028-2029 and sails off into the sunset as a first OPC premier since Davis to be in office for over a decade and thus leaves his government’s controversies and polling decline for his successor to deal with. Nate Erskine-Smith or somebody will probably be the next Liberal leader and probably sail to a strong majority. (unless the OLP completely drops the ball again and the next OLP leader is just another Del Duca or Crombie type candidate that’s been representative of the rudderless opposition in the province for the last 8 years).

Lol I guess doug can hope a 4th mandate now. If Stiles still unkown among most ontariens after almost two mandates leader of the official opposition, I think it is a waste of time pretending she can beat ford

    4. The NDP membership and leadership is addicted to losing.

Hopefully 68% is low enough that Stiles steps down .. but I doubt it.

If she doesn’t step down and the OLP elects NES, it’s gane over for the NDP.
