there is no clear trend here as implied, the acceleration was already before he became PM and continued after
Sunak was what you’d want from a Tory. He was a competent administrator and uncontroversial.
He just wasn’t a big personality, which is important in this day and age.
I’m not advocating him by any means but if we look at the recent Tory leaders I’d take him any day.
Why aren’t you assigning this to his Chancellor, whom I would expect to be closer to the economy?
