      Trump is a clown and I will not defend him. but why would Americans care about Indians who come here to just take wealth out of our country to send remittances to their family back home? They are likely still making more money in the US than in India.

      Wow that sucks almost as much as corporations laying off entire departments to replace them with H1Bs.

      And HR blocking interns who were with the company for 2-3 years from the entry level jobs they trained for. 

      Heavily abused system and everyone knew it.

      Us corps are sending jobs to India anyway so they can just stay home and wait for a job to be posted there. Us families are still getting screwed.

      How about India create their own jobs so their families don’t have to rely on working in foreign countries to begin with

      I support a higher bar to bringing in foreign workers when their is high unemployment.

      I do think this new policy should have had more like a 2 week grace period as I can’t believe people are telling all their H1Bs to get the fuck back in to America within a day if they are on a vacation.

      However the policy itself might be fine.

      Yeah I wonder what happens to people who come back after the deadline? They have apartments or vehicles and other shit to sell off? Would they get entry on a non work visa to take care of those things or is it just gone?

      US doesn’t want Indian Goods and Indian Workers.

      India should gradually phase out US Tech. We should focus on building our own Search Engine, Our Social Media, Operating System etc.

      China was already doing this and now we need to do it too.

      I abhors Trump but once in a while for his own self interest, revenge, or coaching by his masters he accidentally does a good thing. Like forcing US steel to not shut down a steel plant in IL. Tech unemployment in the U.S. is staggering, and increasing we do not need to bring in foreign, primarily tech workers in on H1Bs. That’s done to get admittedly excellent CS and engineers in, and pay them less. Unemployment will bring down salaries that’s economics 101, so make a H1B costly.

      You mean a country shouldn’t be controlling who gets in and at what cost ? Of course it’s gonna hurt someone but is that their concern ?

      Some of the companies most impacted will donate to something related to Trump and then this will get reversed.

      This is corruption, happening right in front of us.

      Harvard medical just issued all students to not travel outside of the US if on h1-b visa

      So instead of business covering the cost they will now be incentivized to hire Americans?

      H1-B visas disrupted the lives of many people already working in the USA, when they were laid off and replaced by a cheaper Indian.
