Simple as. We have proscriptions against incitement to murder. Regardless of whether or not they’re being charged with terrorism – and the only reason they aren’t is because the statutory charging window had lapsed by the time that video became known to police – they’re rightly banned here in Canada under our own proscriptions.

I think people are overlooking a simple fact:
– The Head of State of Canada is the King of UK and Kneecap have terrorism charges in UK.
That’s it. It’s not about freedom of speech. It’s about not inviting a group with terrorism charges in the other country we are intrinsically connected with.
Not every action needs this much attention.
This is not the biggest issue in need for attention.
No foreign person or entity has a right to enter Canada. Government should be able to reject the application without giving an explanation to the public.
