I would like to believe that no one would be able to fly in U.S. air space for this long… πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Russia is completely outmatched by Europe when it comes to conventional weapons. This is why they always threaten to use Nuclear weapons.

Russia has become the school shooter of the international community.

12 minutes?! That’s enough time to make a sandwich and still catch the show! But fr, pretty intense to see Finnish and Italian jets coordinate like that.

    5. The Russians say the flight was over neutral waters more than 3 km from Vaindloo.

If they go 5 km to the north, they’re in Finland airspace.

Its the only route to Kaliningrad.

Tough airspace. That’s why i suppose there are lots interceptions and the like. All the GPS spoofing going all over the place mustn’t help either.

    6. Take those russian jets out next time. Label the missiles: „To Russia with Love“

If you use an OpenStreetMap background, please provide attribution. It’s basically the only requirement.

Next time they fly in with 10 and still nothing would be done. Inch by inch…

They are just constantly poking, poking, poking, until they make a mistake and find themselves triggering conflict. Poo tin and his idiotic henchmen are playing with fire.

Putin should push the envelope equally over Alaska and really test NATO’s meddle.

i know it’s grammar but ‚where‘ and ‚were‘ make a huge difference to sentences.. here come the down voters..😜

    12. Every time ruzzia violates NATO’s borders the West should send that many missiles or Patriots to Ukraine. That way there is a real consequence for ruzzia and not only angry letters.

    13. This map doesn’t show that they entered Estonian airspace over Vaindloo Island.

Can anybody find a reliable source for where they entered Estonian airspace (at the 0th minute) and exited Estonian airspace (at the 12th minute)?

Did they fly in a circle at any point during this time?

If we have that information, then we know how fast the aircraft were flying (much easier to catch, escort, or shoot down a Mig-31 flying at Mach 1 than one flying at Mach 2.83).

I’m getting curious what they would do if we for a change decide not to intercept. But just observe what they would do

    15. Wonder who is going to be the first NATO nation to shoot down a Russian plane/ drone? And what will happen, not like Russia would want to go to war over a downed aircraft.

Didnt they say Nato is the aggressor? Russians people are goddamn blind. How could one believe such a blatant lie.

    18. its only something small but it really highlights how robust NATO is. italian fighter jets covering estonian territory in the face of russian aggression

NATO and Russia have been playing this game since the end of WWII … it’s been 70 years. I think both sides know the left and right limits by now.

I love all the β€œarm-chair generals” in this thread … β€œjust shoot them down brah!”

Oh thanks for that nuanced take. Clearly you’ve a better handle on this than those that have done it for decades …

    20. Not gonna lie, the pilots can barely speak English and often something is wrong with their planes or their knowledge how to navigate.Β
