Hallo, ich habe vor, vom Bahnhof Noord Noord zum Bahnhof Basel SBB im DB -Zug zu reisen. Auf der SEAT -Auswahlseite kann ich sehen, dass der Köln zu Baselteil der Reise „automatisch ausgewählt“ zeigt. Bedeutet dies, dass die Sitze tatsächlich automatisch ausgewählt werden oder nur „Zugreservierung“ und keinen Sitz garantiert?
Was bedeutet IC 60403 / NJ 403? Gleicher Zug mit aber mit 2 Zahlen 🤔?

In this instance, two trains are joined together and travel as one at least for a portion of the route. NJ 403 is the sleeper train, IC 60403 is the seated train.

Yes, like codesharing on planes. It is a night sleeper train with some additional regular inter-city carriages (with regular seats) attached to it.

That is why it operates as NJ and IC as it is a Nightjet
