He doesn’t need to „prosecute“ anyone.

It’s just a way to persecute anyone he wants by labelling them „antifa“.

It’s Hitler’s playbook precisely with „communists“ after the Reichstag fire. He didn’t take them to court, he just disappeared anyone he wanted to.

    2. Oh. You can prosecute an ideology. In lots of Europe, Nazi symbols, pro-Nazi statements, and Nazi actions are very much illegal and prosecuted.

But, antifa has no official members, no official symbols, and no official organization.

Yes you can, this is America, not a country of laws. Just declare national emergency #128 and be done with it.

Someone on another post about this said that him declaring this is akin to Michael Scott declaring bankruptcy and I can’t agree more 😂

    5. Hard to say because that’s how during McCarthy era when they banned communism.

They can’t? Feels like a „Shhhh, don’t worry, the slide to fascism will be fine.“

    7. Intangible foes has never stopped America from waging a war on something. See: Drugs, Terror.

He thinks all he has to do is say it and it is law. Sorry Orangezilla, it doesn’t work that way

„antifa“ is an adjective. What’s next, you gonna declare „purple“ a terrorist organization?

He tries to do so much crazy shit so fast the courts can’t keep up with the cases to stop what happens next.

    11. Sure you can. That’s the whole point of him doing this. We fought a war for 20’years against an ideology.

    12. I’ve already started seeing content defining the American leaders and soldiers that fought the fascists in Europe as the original founders of the anti-fascists. Messaging doesn’t get any clearer than that. Love it.

    13. You can’t label something a “terrorist organization” if it isn’t even an organization

    14. Its not even an ideology. Its a single issue opinion that fascists do not belong in a civilized society. You can be conservative, liberal, communist, or even far-right(but not fascist) and *still* be an anti-fascist.

Seems like they’re really just wanting to make it illegal to call them fascist. If you call them fascist they will say you’re antifa, which is now considered a terrorist organization.

    16. Try telling that to McCarthy.

Same Cold War bullshit, but different generation.

They have no intention of pressing charges.

Did we forget he’s a pedophile/supporter of kid fucking? Why are those headlines going away?

Trump will say and do anything to keep the Epstein scandal from his door.

    19. Isn’t it interesting that as Trump really ramps up the fascism he decides to declare the very idea of being “anti-fascism” tantamount to being a terrorist.

    20. We’re not a fucking ideology. We’re *people* and we’re scared. We are one single percent of this country’s population. We can’t protect ourselves in US politics anymore. We actually need our allies to stop saying we’re overdramatic and lock the fuck in. Use YOUR political voting power to protect us and other minorities.

Someone explain to me how making anti-fascism the enemy isn’t pretty much an admission that the US is currently a fascist state?

Until the day I die I will never understand how people saw this man and thought he’s the best option America had.

Even if you’re a Republican, I hope you can someday admit that there must certainly have been a more qualified and unifying leader for all Americans in the Republican party than Donald Trump.
