Das Verbot von Kniekap: Eine notwendige Maßnahme oder eine Übersteuerung durch Kanada?

I’m not sure why Kneecap is pretending as if there isn’t clear video of them unambiguously supporting Hamas and Hezbollah (that’s what “up Hamas” means to those unfamiliar with British slang) and calling for the death of British MPs.

Note they phrased their statements by saying they haven’t been *convicted* but they have been charged. People are deemed inadmissible for pending charges *all the time*.

If you want to talk like revolutionaries; own it and own the consequences. Don’t talk about “up Hamas” and killing politicians and then pivot to litigious threats when people call you out and don’t want you in their country.

For those of you who think it’s an overreach to prohibit supporters of terrorist groups from entering Canada: If an artist was repeatedly caught on video praising Nazi groups in live performances – would you believe their barring from Canada to be an overreach?

Kneecap and their fans need to understand that freedom of speech is materially different from freedom of consequences. Most countries don’t want supporters of terrorist groups entering their country. This shouldn’t be a surprise.
