Poland, and now Estonia.. it’s clear they are testing the waters of what they can get away with.

*Airspace violations aim to normalize and are designed to become „normal“ stripping away early-warning and granting the aggressor a decisive temporal edge in case of war. Once routine, they will permamently erode your early-warning systems and give the aggressor a critical time advantage forever*

      # Turkey has been doing this to Greece for years now. If such actions are recognized as a threat in one part of Europe, consistency matters elsewhere too. If airspace violations are treated as a serious threat in one region of Europe but overlooked in another, it weakens Europe’s overall deterrence. Inconsistency signals to aggressors that pressure can succeed if applied selectively, and that some borders are less protected than others. it’s about closing dangerous loopholes that adversaries can exploit against Europe as a whole.

**it undermines sovereignty, rule of law, and equal security for all member states. Consistency matters because our credibility rests on the idea that borders and international law are not negotiable, no matter which country is targeted. It would erode the ethical foundation of the European project itself.**

      Nobody’s airspace should be violated.

I suggest if we begin normalizing defensive action against ALL such tactics **EQUALLY** applied **with no exceptions**

Time to start solving that problem the Turkish way. Just shoot them down and say „What plane?! You sent a plane over my territory?! I thought you were not supposed to do that. Anyway, hope you find your plane.“

„Can’t we ask Turkey to contribute to Operation Eastern Sentry and defend the airspace against the Russians? Seems like they actually have the guts and experience to do it well.“

It’s so funny to watch the small, warlike armchair wars of Europe, which scatter around the world like cockroaches after the start of a real conflict.
