If you were to actually have read the article, you’d find it to be a lot more balanced than what you imply with this post. It’s essentially: This group says this. This group disagrees. The end.

They don’t morality though. The Trust simply points to a study that after drug induced mammary glands are developed the milk is the same minus a tiny amount of testosterone.

I don’t even get why this is in the news. It’s only from an NHS Trust. Why is telegraph even making articles about this?

Just seems like rage baiting to me.

Do they have drugs to give to women to help with lactation also? Genuinely curious because I myself had a hard time producing enough milk to pump for times when I couldn’t be there to feed my baby. This would’ve been great. Doctors never mentioned it.

Anyone that’s ok with anything in this news article needs to be locked away. There is something seriously wrong in the minds of these ppl. God help all of you.

I honestly don’t care about the breast feeding. LGBTQ is not a purely Jewish thing. Most people just want the freedom to love who they love and a pursuit of happiness.

The lowest pits of the devil’s home aren’t even good enough for the punishment these people deserve

    8. What do these 2 slides have to do with one another? Feels like the first one is just used as a way to slip in the antisemitism.

Im sure you can find 18 Jewish people involved in just about anything…

Horrifying, I really don’t understand how anyone can support or encourage this. It’s child abuse, INFANT abuse

I am just thinking about a pair of babies suckling on liver kings nipples cause he wants his babies to be so pumped with testosterone they experience puberty at 5 and male pattern baldness at 8, and their growth plates fuse way early so they are like, 3 feet tall, but fucking diced to the ankles.

Y’all do know that biological men can also lactate?

Obviously not as frequently and at the same volume, but we’re mammals with mammary glands.

Don’t fall for the trans hate narrative. Trans people don’t own our politicians with sexual blackmail

    13. endoftheworldisfine on

Any man who wants testosterone gets it, that’s fine. A person who is biologically a woman wants T, um, we now need the government to screen you for terrorism. Some with estrogen, half of the birth control, while it is still legal, is the hormones estrogen and progesterone I think. Men and women both have testosterone and estrogen, generally at different levels, though nature has all kinds of surprises. Even babies born with ambiguous genitalia that Doctors historically have surgically intervened with and decided, sometimes with parental consent, that the child is a girl, though she may never achieve orgasms now

    14. purplecactai on

Such a diversionary topic. Less than .8% of the population is trans. Can we please talk about something else, like the Epstein files or the billionaires hoarding the majority of the world’s wealth?

I think your 2nd pic is why it was removed. And why it will be removed again.

Have you considered not including the Jew hate?

    18. I would be mad as hell if I found out that when I was a baby I suckled my pop’s hairy nips 🤣

the second page of this post is crazy schizo posting. there’s so many non-jewish trans influencers, academics, policy leaders, etc. there’s plenty of spaces that are more Jewish. you can’t blame them for everything lol

but the first pic is straight wild.

    20. It’s probably caused by higher prolactin, hell men can have it happen to them randomly

just as i was starting to think this sub was decent uhg. this is too far bro. im not even a trans jew or trans or a jew and like this is too far gone for me.

I’m not even gonna touch on picture 2, because it’s giving obsession and psychosis. But I AM a huge proponent of breastfeeding! And there’s a lot to unpack here.

But regarding lactation in males – YES, men have mammary glands! You can consider it a bit of an evolutionary holdover (*maybe*, depending on the literature you read), but men have been known to spontaneously lactate, sometimes due to medication (Domperidone is the same thing prescribed to underproducing mothers, but a heart medication has also been known to cause this), medical issues, and it was also observed in POW’s subjected to extreme starvation. Basically, if you have mammary glands, and experience a massive spike in prolactin due to pregnancy/birth, tumor, medication, or recovering from starvation (glands recover more quickly than the liver, and hormone levels will spike unchecked) – you can experience male lactation. Certain animals also experience and actively nurse their young, so it’s not just a human quirk. Humans just evolved differently, but there are some historical documents noting ‘male wet nurses’.

As to ‘same as breastmilk’, it’s important to look at the wording of the study. It says ‘comparable to breastmilk’, but formula is also ‘comparable to breastmilk’. Even to this day, breastmilk in general is not well researched and poorly understood, variations in chemical composition, how it modulates immune system development, neurobiological and psychological factors, etc. – so on a surface level, sure, it’s just as good as nonchemically induced lactation, same as formula. And the best fed child is a well fed child (not trying to disparage who can’t or choose not to breastfeed, or those who choose to artificially induce lactation) BUT, without full knowledge of the many mechanisms of breastfeeding, you can’t *really* proclaim it’s the exact same. You can merely label it as ‘comparable to’.

As for production – THAT I’m a bit more skeptical about. Newborns to about the first 3 months, their stomachs are TINY, starting out about the size of a marble (which is why just colostrum is fine for newborns, they need very small feedings, very frequently). But I know firsthand how much I was producing and my infant was consuming, and generally, purposely induced lactation production tends to be lower than naturally lactating women, so not sure how long someone could EBF before needing to supplement with outside nutrition.
