JSO never seem to learn that pissing people off isn’t going to attract them to whatever it is they believe in.
Why do they always have that same smug holier-than-thou look on their face.
That’s a multi million pound jet meant for a few people. The people that own and travel on that jet are not the common citizen. Why are we vilifying climate change activists when they target the people we want them to direct their actions at?
She believed the paint would just slide off? That’s not really how paint works, but nice try.
How absolutely deluded are these people?
They thought criminal damage against Taylor Swift’s jet – who probably has one of the biggest carbon footprints on the play would somehow decide to use it as an opportunity to talk about climate change?
They may as well have said, they thought by damaging her plane they she would give them free VIP tickets to her concerts.
Well, I mean, yeah, of course they’re guilty. They obviously did it, they don’t deny that at all. And their motivation doesn’t really make sense as a public interest type defence.
They did criminal damage to make a political point and were presumably expecting this outcome. They’ll be proud to be climate martyrs.
It’ll be interesting to see if they get a custodial sentence.
