      Trump also revealed that the US knows where China builds its nuclear weapons and they need the Afghan base so they are only an hour away from this location. I assume that is classified information and now that China knows they will probably move their facilities.

      I am 1/3 of the way into Carter Malkasian’s *American War in Afghanistan* (an excellent book) and I cant imagine anyone who participated in the war is interested in going back.

      So he ordered a pull out from Afghanistan for after he was out of office, doing basically nothing to prep for it. Then after blaming the libs for it, he wants to go back in?

      How many American lives are going to be given up this time around? And will Afghanis who support America be treated just as poorly as last time? Will they even show any public support this time around?

      This is simply not true. Donald Trump has repeatedly stated that he will stop wars and has made claims about ending conflicts, both during his campaigns and in office. Yes sir, no new wars overseas or at home.

      So he manufactures the Doha Agreement and agrees to withdrawing troops from Afghanistan, which effectively gave the country to a terrorist group, then he blamed Biden, his successor, for it, and, now that he’s president again, he says he wants Bagram Air Base back, which the Taliban have already said (multiple times) that they won’t do so.

      1. Donald sabotaged his successor (think we can assume that).
      2. Donald created a mess for himself that he’s having a hard time cleaning up.

      This is such wonderful news, especially after he set in motion a commitment to withdraw our troops from Afghanistan on a schedule that we could not complete in the time allotted just because he lost the election to make the Democrats the bad guys.

      “We gave it to (the Taliban) for nothing,” Trump said during a joint press conference with UK Prime Minister Kier Starmer on Thursday. “We’re trying to get it back, by the way.”

      He believes that we should have sold it to the taliban. He is literally incapable of viewing things through any lens other than a transactional one.

      That being said, I think this is likely just him spouting shit out of his mouth and everyone back in the west wing was like “hold up, are we talking to the Taliban”. And they all sat around the office like “no, he’s just talking nonsense again”
