Can someone explain if this is strategically significant in the larger war, or tactically significant in this particular stretch of the front, and why? I feel like I am constantly hearing about small gains and small losses that don’t actually change the overall flow of the war.

Kupiansk that was retaken during the 2022 Kharkiv counter-offensive is about to fall again.
The situation is not that good.
