Isn’t there a new Finnish drone manufacture? You just need trained operators and some Ai technology. BBBBBZZZZzzzz zzzzzzoop boom

Who could have guessed that continuously cutting the funding of universities and effectively killing RnD could cause a nation to fall behind in tech.

We should partner with Israel. They have the best drones that can shoot babies drinking milk in their mamas hands. They even have ones that make noises of children in distress so when adults come out to save them, it can shoot at them.

Its amazing technology, we have anyways turned a blind eye towards the genocide for the Davids slingshot, lets do the same and progress. Why should only Israel have child killing drone technology

Well, we are not making MQ-9 Reaper drones, but Patria is researching 8-motor drones for similar duties, and how to counter those smaller and cheaper drones. For bigger ones, like Shahed, we have the NATO standard air defence.

Personally I don’t think that we are falling behind, but I wouldn’t mind if we would build some delta wing drones with explosives or capabilities for cluster ammunition, since we are already one of the few western countries (with Estonia) who have stockpiled those.

    5. At this point the only thing finland isnt falling behind on is collapsing its own economy. F-ing useless idiots in our government

Drones are a troublesome means of military armament in that they are hardly worth manufacturing for stockpiling. The technology advances so rapidly that any drones kept in storage become obsolete within a couple of years.

    7. I don’t think it’s just a Finland problem, it affects every country except Ukraine and R*ssia but yeah, we won’t have any second chances when that Temu tzar knocks on our door again.
