      a 100-year partnership agreement is incredibly rare in modern geopolitics. It shows just how deeply Ukraine and the UK are committing to long-term cooperation, way beyond the current war

      It also signals to other allies (and to Russia) that the UK sees Ukraine as a permanent strategic partner, not just a temporary cause. Even if the actual terms evolve over time, the symbolism alone is huge. It’ll be interesting to see how this shapes Ukraine’s path toward EU and NATO integration too, it feels like another major step in locking in its place with the West.
