Aber die Tatsache, dass sie versuchen, sein Attentat zu nutzen, um den Autoritarismus einzuleiten und andere zu verfolgen, lässt mich fast moralisch verpflichtet, ihn als moralische Pflicht zu verspotten.

I agree with everything else, but instead of further dividing each other, how about we use this knowledge about them trying to kill free speech by uniting. I think this is one thing both the left and the right should agree on. Many right wing people are appalled by the way the administration is using his death for „hate speech“ regulations, which is laughable since you can critique Kirk for a lot, but he surely wanted open discussions. Many on the left are doing exactly what they want you to do, just so they can say „see, they are all hateful and want violence“. Why is this so hard?
