MDH is wrapping things up and has no fecks left to give. Fair play to him.
There’s a lot of countries like the US and UK that will be crying about Gaza but only once it’s been completely destroyed and the people either killed or displaced.
Thank goodness he is stepping down soon, a very ridiculous and potentially damaging comment for folks still working away here.

Insane take. If this came from Joan Collins most would throw their eyes skyward. But Higgins is praised for it.

Literally his only job is to not discuss policy and he can’t even manage that. A fitting end to half a century latched onto the taxpayer teat with nothing to show for it.
If we’re going to start excluding countries from the UN who export arms to bad countries… we’ll be left with a club of countries who make the current UN actually look meaningful and powerful.
Are these countries on the wrong side if history? Absolutely. But the idea of excluding them from the UN is just one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard. The UN only has *any* power, as small as it is now, as long as it has some buy-in from states with power.
He is on the right side of history.

He said nothing wrong. They have funded and aided a genocide for two years. They should be ashamed. The US is a danger to democracy. They are destabilising the entire global fabric.
Look at how MAGA has spread, but people can’t think critically. The USA propaganda is too engrained in their psyche.
The comments were a bit naive. The UN is a toothless organization. Ostracizing members does nothing but inflame tensions and reduce diplomatic ties. I don’t think Michael D has ever called for the expulsion of Russia or North Korea?
