Ich erinnere mich auch, dass ich über einen Politiker gelesen habe, der während der Arbeit Selbstmord begangen hat.
Ich frage mich wirklich, warum Männer in Finnland sich dafür entscheiden, sich dies selbst zu antun, ob die Menschen mehr darüber sprechen und sich gegenseitig unterstützen sollten.

I feel like there has been a lot of suicides lately regardless of gender and age
With the poor politician, its possible the medication fucked him over. He suffered from really bad back pain, and he was prescribed medicine that can cause suicidal ideation as side affect.
People are not so eager to open themselves up here. I tried many times to ask my friends and colleagues before why they look sad etc. But hell no. Noone opens the mouths. Only way was to give couple of pints and then everyone becomes talkative. Next day person pretends nothing happened.. I guess it is the culture and it will not change easily..
Police officers are stressed out because they have rough job and low salary.
But also our women commit more suicides than Spaniard or Italians.
There is still a stigma attached to mental health problems and suicide. That raises the bar to seek help and even when u seek help it can be really hard to get it.
Sometimes people feel like the only logical way out is suicide, no more pain, suffering, worrying, just nothing. One moment u are here with all ur problems and the other all ur problems are gone permanently.
The politician did it possibly due wrong medication.
