Please god no. It’s not our responsibility and the second our government says otherwise would be the second Carnet loses my vote
Nope. Not our problem.
They have the second amendment to keep them safe.
There’s also as many Black Americans in America as there are Canadians in Canada. Black Americans are fully part of the American mainstream. They’re arguably a nation within a nation. It’s infantilizing, even racist, to suggest that they can’t take care of themselves when push comes to shove.
It’s always the same thing,
-people need our help, Canada says „not our problem.“
-preventable deaths occur.
-turns out Canada could of helped.
-Canada says „sorry, we should of helped, we won’t make this mistake again.“
Rinse and repeat, over and over again.
I have no problem accepting a few thousand American refugees claiming asylum for political and social persecution.
