A couple of those photos are „so it’s not a brand new freshly built room so what“. But most of those photos are definite „yikes“.
The mould is what scares me the most out of all that. It’s a health hazard, and this person shouldn’t be running an Airbnb if they are not willing to maintain the place.

that’s what happens when the „host“ is some kid with a photo on a boat rented with daddy’s money

Same thing happened to me in Malta with a different airbnb though. Had to find a new accommodation the day we were due to check in
how is this a disaster? its kinda run down 5/10 review, but useable if its cheap.
The door though is obviously a safety concern I’d ask for a discount because of that.
We had a similar experience at an Airbnb in Malta (Gżira) 2 weeks ago, and the host had a very good review score too. And Airbnb doesn’t care. Almost 2k€ a week, it’s frustrating.

That’s a mess. Have you reported this to the MTA (tourism authority). This is not a flat suitable for hosting tourists.
Not all of the pictures are a disaster. But the mould ones are an Extreme Disaster.
