      I did JFK to Shannon a few weeks ago and that was probably only half full.

      Flew out DUB to JFK though and it was full

      I wonder how full the flights are to smaller cities in the US Aer Lingus services when this is so bad.

      Accurate. When I lived in Dublin for grad school and came home to Chicago during the off season, there were prob 80 people on some of the flights.

      It’s September and everyone is settling into the real world again. No summer holidays, only the brutal pain of our neo-liberal consumerist commitment to powerful capitalist lords which control us all.

      Tourism implications of this could be a huge loss to the exchequer as things appear to deteriorate.

      I know it’s terrible with the CO2 emissions aand wastage but I’m not gonna lie I’d kind of like to be on a flight like that.

      I’ve to go there in a few weeks. It looking forward to the incredibly rude airport security people. Utter wankers. I’ll be over there trying to get business to save American jobs. But I’ll be treated like I’m desperate to stay in there. No thanks

      Nobody wants to go to the US for tourism because of the repression, fewer and fewer Americans have the money to travel abroad on holiday. Plus it’s between travel periods.

      I’ve been looking at flights home for Christmas from Toronto.

      Nearly $8,000 for a family of 4 with no bags on Aer Lingus. Maybe lower your fares if you want people to fly

      Had a flight to and back with Aer Lingus and it was completely full. I wish I had this flight.

      Everyone commenting about fewer people travelling to US these days, but this picture also means fewer US tourists to Ireland – which is the main bread and butter of Irish tourism.

      Reminds me of the covid days, every flight was like this whilst I was travelling across Europe.
