      Very unsure about her due to Gemma, Mick and Russia.

      Candidates are absolutely shite though so maybe she’s the best of a bad bunch.

      This might be the best place to ask. Can anyone tell me WHO are the other candidates??? I’ve literally heard nothing of anyone else. Also why are we so ADAMANTLY against Catherine? I dont like the way shes spoken about our close international relations but I feel like that wouldn’t have made her as bad a candidate in many people’s eyes, so what are other people’s reasons?

      She seems sound as a person.. but she has the PBP view „Russia is bad and Ukraine has a right to defend itself but Europe shouldn’t help them“.

      That’s a deal breaker to me. I’m not a lefty though, so maybe I’m bias. Doesn’t help that she likes Gemma O’Doherty either.

      I’m voting for her. She is the only candidate with a track record of defending Ireland’s neutrality. Most Irish people don’t want to join NATO. I hope they realise that joining NATO will be a slow slippery process, it will start with further watering down our neutrality. I think electing her will send a good message to FF/FG, who are already toying with the idea.

      And to anyone who thinks NATO is a defensive alliance, look at Libya. And what NATO did to it.
