The whole space shuttle program was supported by the need for NASA to deliver classified payloads to space. Between 1982 and 1992, 11 classified payloads were delivered to space by NASA. Modern space science was founded by the need for spying. So long, lame excuse.

NASA is the premier product of American excellence. What they haven’t already dismantled and replaced with crony capitalism they are degrading on the international stage.
