Simply quoting Article 2 powers isn’t the Trump card he thinks it is. She will likely prevail, but it will take time to work through the court system. Which is the current strategy of this administration.

NY is an at-will employment state so unless she followed specific steps to be a whistleblower or has an EEOC-type discrimination claim, there isn’t much she can do. NY does have an against public policy clause but I’m not sure if that would apply there. Does anyone have a copy of the filed complaint?

      >“In truth, there is no legitimate explanation. Rather, Defendants fired Ms. Comey solely or substantially because her father is former FBI Director James B. Comey, or because of her perceived political affiliation and beliefs, or both.”

      >James Comey was fired by the first Trump administration in 2017, days after Comey confirmed the FBI was investigating possible links between the Trump campaign and possible Russian interference in the 2016 election.

      >The issue remains a sore spot for the President to this day. He views Comey as emblematic of the “weaponized” justice system that he has since sought to dismantle.

Convicted criminal sees justice system as a weapon used to attack him for all his criming. I’m not shocked. That’s the purpose of the justice system, to go after criminals like him.

She dropped the ball on a handling maxwell and Epstein. This lawsuit has no legs and she looks complicit in protecting child predators.

Its also notable that this is James Comey’s daughter. This is why Trump fired her.

    7. It’s Comey’s daughter; I think she has a case but fuck the media for using headlines that obscure the actual story.

    8. Fired most likely because she is James Comey’s daughter. Just vindictive and childish.

    9. Prediction: He settles. This is the opposite of his strategy to get payoffs. He sues, then settles and takes the money. I’d be willing to bet it’s the same thing in reverse, a way to give a payoff to someone to keep their mouth shut.
