Kinda think hitting his neck was intentional, it just looked a little too, idk, accurate? A little too precise? It’s almost like they wanted to fatally tap his carotid, maybe not to „silence“ him but to publicly take him out in a way that wouldn’t overly traumatize people

edit: Ever seen the movie Cloud Atlas? One of the timelines focuses on a fast food joint in a dystopian future where the waitresses are actually lifelong slaves who have to put up with all kinda of abuse from customers and management and it’s kinda cultish and disturbing, all of that, but the apparent precision of the shot that killed Kirk reminded me of one scene from that movie. All the waitress are fitted with this neck collar, and when one of them tries to escape a button is pushed and an explosive in the collar neatly and fatally blows open their carotid. Maybe that’s why to me it seemed like the shooting was so precise, idk, or maybe it’s another odd „coincidence“ in a Wachowski film, like the 9/11 coincidence in The Matrix

As horrible as it is, here is the math on it. I used all estimated numbers from the media. TLDR at the end if you don’t want to read math stuff.

If you were to shoot a 30.06 rifle from an estimate 40′ elevation higher than the target that you are shooting at, with no crosswinds, at a distance of 200 yards from the target, and you were aiming directly center of the target, at that distance, at that elevation above the target, at 2600ft/s, here is what it would be.

Flight time from firing the shot would be .214 seconds. Gravity makes the bullet fall an extra distance of (1/2) g t² during that time, where g ≈ 32.174 ft/s². When you aim directly along the line to a downhill target the bullet’s initial vertical component already “points at” the target elevation, so the only additional error is the gravitational fall during flight. (1/2) g t² ≈ 0.739 ft ≈ 8.9 inches.

Taking into drag on the bullet from the air resistance will also impact the speed at which the bullet was fired. So here is a little varied possibility list to give examples of what could have happened.

• 2500 ft/s → ≈ 11.1 inches low
• 2700 ft/s → ≈ 9.5 inches low
• 2800 ft/s → ≈ 8.9 inches low
• 3000 ft/s → ≈ 7.7 inches low

So depending on the resistance that the bullet faced, it could change how much it dropped over that 200 yards, or 600 feet by up wards of 3.4″. I ignored aerodynamic drag and velocity loss. Drag increases time of flight slightly, so real world drop will be a bit larger than these ideal values (so expect maybe ~1–2 in more depending on bullet/ballistic coefficient).

So essentially the shooter aimed directed at Charlie Kirk’s head, most likely right in the center of his head. The drop in the bullet due to everything I listed above would be anywhere from 7.7-11.1″ from where he was aiming over that distance. So he aimed for his face, and the drop brought the bullet down to his neck.

TLDR: The shooter aimed right in the middle of Kirk’s face and the distance he was away from Kirk caused the bullet to drop due to gravity and air resistance to drop the 9″ or so to hit him in the neck. So he was not aiming for his neck. He was trying to hit him right in the middle of his face.

This has to be the most upsetting math I’ve ever done. I am sorry if it offended anyone. Not my meaning at all. I am just answering the theory.

Occam’s Razor: Some lefty fanatic didn’t like his „mean words“, so they thought they were „fighting fascism“ by assassinating him.

Him getting hit in the throat seems like a miscalculation with the recoil, especially at that distance. Could be they were aiming for his chest.

Though it definitely seems that the machine media, as well as the years of mass social conditioning, are using his death to push people to commit more violent acts.

You would have to demonstrate that the shooter wasn’t aiming for his head or his chest before I would begin to accept that. The silencing and scaring is a given no matter what.

The throat wound was most likely an exit wound. Pretty sure he was hit in the upper chest and the bullet ricocheted out his neck.
