That sounds like a project for India to make more bushel of corn (and other foods and thingies).

why does he have to pick officials who are just as embarrassing as him.

    3. Tariff Tax a friend at 50% and friends go away. They don’t want your soy beans either. It’s called treating people decently. But you clowns in Washington don’t know a thing about treating people with respect.

Is corn a big staple of Indian cuisine? I know its used in some side dishes, but I don’t imagine theyre major consumers of it to begin with. If they aren’t buying it, its because they probably don’t really want it… and that seems to be something that the folks in this admin don’t seem to really understand.

Ah yes corn, the famous Indian ingredient from the famously trustworthy country that totally won’t stab you in the back. I can’t see why India isn’t jumping at this opportunity!

why would anyone need to buy US corn if they can grow it themselves? This is more scheming to subsidize US farmers

I thought the US was going to use their stuff for themselves only right? They don’t need other countries to buy from them, they can do it all and have it all themselves!

Thought the US didn’t need anyone and all allies are just leeches

I mean that is what the administration said more or less verbatim

What in the living fuck are you talking about

Almost like the current US administration are trying to cause chaos among it’s former allies, and potential strategic partners. Could even suggest they’re not acting in US interests.

I read that USAID was a big buyer of locally produced corn but then they shut it down.

Why should India buy US corn? If they needed to or wanted to, they would.

The US is a kakistocracy. Smart people are keeping a low profile else they become targets.

    15. That’s coz we use the metric system and have no clue about what a bushel is

    16. I’m starting to think that maybe, just maybe… starting a trade war with the entire world maybe wasn’t a great idea…

Im not 100% but Im pretty sure because of „tariff“ Trump did. China did the same and refuse to bou soybeans from America.

    18. When the rest of the world turns their backs on us, take comfort in the fact that we’ll have endless supplies of soybeans and corn!

US brags about having 13 billion bushels of corn. Can’t manage to sell a single one to India.
