    1. > “The show has always brought people in from different ages and different generations and it’s how it revives itself,” Michaels said. “It’s always hard when people leave, but there’s a time for that and our audience has always stayed relatively young, and more so now with TikTok.”

      > He continued: “Change is good. The people we’re bringing in, I’m really excited about.”

    2. We fired all our black women and got some right wing comedians. So even less people will watch us now.

    3. Change is good, as long as it doesn’t apply to me and my 50 years running the show.

I’m just waiting to hear a story that blows the lid off SNL. Every season ALWAYS has ex cast members talking about how insanely stressful it is to work on the show, how it directly affected them on a personal level, and or how they have near ptsd from it and I have a feeling it’s a lot more than a 1 week deadline. Pretty sure it has everything to do with Lorne.

    5. The headline I remember from a few weeks ago was they were replacing the entire cast. Yet every week since I’ve seen posts of “Oh no, so and so is leaving the SNL cast.” And now we get Michaels shrugging and saying how sad it is when cast members leave.

Are they leaving or have they all been canned?!

almost all the bigger players and decision makers of the cast/writing team are still in tact – weird execution overall if you want to actually see change

Is it just me or does SNL seem so messy lately? Like no one can remember their lines so they’re constantly looking at que cards, the cast members seem like they’re just winging it, and half of the writing isn’t even that funny anymore.

I maintain that Lorne is a piece of shit for saying he would’ve invited Sinead O’Connor to the anniversary if she was alive. Motherfucker had 30 years to make things right with her and once she’s dead he talks about how he would’ve hypothetically done something nice.
