My girlfriend is Latino. We are getting duplicate passports to have on hand. Also, I now carry at all times due to death threats from MAGA supporters via LinkedIn due to my job.
So, might as well carry when ICE tries to deport my girlfriend , who is a citizen. But, you know they don’t really care about those details.

What a dosghit country
We all remember a time when a defense against Probable Cause for a detention was “I was racially profiled”. That’s no longer the case. Police have always been creative when listing the reasons why their detention was made. Now a simple “I was merely checking their immigration and citizenship status.” Naturally withholding id or identification will soon be illegal and even having adequate documentation may soon be questioned as possible forgeries. Course how you prove you’re an American citizen may soon require a checklist of papers you’re required to carry.
