If he worked for a reputable network, he would have been immediately fired.

    2. Cyndakill88 on

Weres that cancel culture the right wanted because people weren’t sad enough over a podcaster?

    3. faith_apnea on

MAGA trash. Do better. Apologies are worthless. Stop propagating the White Nationalist Y’all Qaeda agenda.

    4. How about the other people who were agreeing with him?

He didn’t say that by himself. He wasn’t alone on set when he said this.

    5. RipComfortable7989 on

He doesn’t personally mean the apology. He’s just saying it because the network demanded it.

    6. OriginalTechnical531 on

People were fired for saying Charlie was divisive, this guy gets to call for murdering homeless people and keeps his job? Seems like a double standard.

    7. xXBassHero99Xx on

The fact that nobody called him out in the moment and they just issue this hand wavy correction nobody will look at. They should all resign.

    8. AcanthisittaNo6653 on

A real news organization wouldn’t let him get off so easy, but Fox News is entertainment.

    9. GarySparrow0 on

I doubt he reflected on his words and is offering a sincere apology on his own accord; more like the egg heads at Fox crunched some numbers and decided him not apologizing would hurt their bottom line.

    10. Why was he not summarily fired like the people who committed the unforgivable sin of posting simple basic facts about Charlie Kirk?

    11. There are people compiling lists of social media comments that celebrated Kirk’s assassination. Teachers are getting suspended for not showing sympathy or deference but this call for murder is somehow excusable and defensible?

    12. Bullocks1999 on

He should be fired. Just like the CNN guy that made a minor statement on Charlie Kirk. The standard and the crying related to victimization on the right is mind numbing. They’re snowflakes.

    13. OuterSpaceBootyHole on

He gets to apologize for spouting eugenics but the federal government is going after people repeating Charlie Kirk’s own words. The fascism is already here yall. Be worried for what’s next.

    14. Bravely_Default on

This is the same week where people are being fired for pointing out Charlie Kirk was an asshole right?

    15. Crazy-Nights on

What kind of life does he live that made him so comfortable with making that suggestion on the air to millions of witnesses?

    16. reluctant_spinster on

He said to kill them twice on air. First with „involuntary lethal injection.“ Thought it was okay, and followed up with „just kill them.“

And he said it so nonchalantly. Which means he thinks it often, believes it, and likely says it off camera.

This would get you fired in ANY other circumstance. It’s vial and is yet another example of how the right advocates for violence.

An apology isn’t enough, but it’s all we’ll get. They’re going to keep saying horrible things like this because they know all they have to do is apologize. We are in bad times.

Republicans get promoted when they make horrific comments, democrats get fired.

      Welcome to America

    18. Complete-Thought-375 on

So people are getting fired for talking bad about Charlie Kirk, but it’s cool for this asshole to say we should kill the homeless??? Gotcha.

Gotta love that good old Fox News double standard. Maybe they should get sued. Again.

Oh wait! If Killmeade gets sued Trump will just put him into the administration.

    19. It is ok to talk about killing homeless but not Charlie Kirk. Got it Foxnews.

    20. Impressive-Chip8362 on

I’m a conservative, and he should 💯 get fired over that. Inexcusable.

    21. Slow_Investment_2211 on

If this was a liberal news host they’d have been fired already. Dowd was fired for saying something not even remotely controversial

    22. JellyrollTX on

Why hasn’t he been fired? Actual decent human beings are being fired from public schools and universities for saying far less offensive and arguably factual statements about Charlie Kirk and the LBLTQ community

    23. When you preach hatred and divisiveness for a living, it becomes your truth.

    24. Logical_Hare on

The people who want Charlie Kirk’s death treated like 9/11 right now are the same people who casually call for the homeless to be killed, and who were calling to just let all the sick and elderly die during COVID.

    25. InvertedEyechart11 on

      Let’s review:

People are getting fired, being publicly doxxed on websites, etc., and yet this „newsperson“ can get away with saying what he said. This is disturbing.

Next thing you know this „newsperson“ will be saying, „It’s a joke!“ – yet he has already seeded another (bad) idea out to the world. *This is horrifying.*

    26. Embarrassed-Mango36 on

How is this monster on the air? The fact that this point even crossed his mind should disqualify him from engaging with a general public.

    27. LegendOfKhaos on

„I didn’t get the reaction I thought I would, so now I am apologizing. Please let me know when this view becomes acceptable, so I no longer have to hide it.“

    28. Mouthshitter on

He wants to murder homeless people
An actual call to violence on national TV
How does he have a job?

    29. Not good enough. He’s proven he can’t handle a public facing position. Fire him.
