Hej!

    1. I heard it is a scam, it is not Ingeniþren who organises them, this is just an ad. I honestly don’t know why Ingeniþren allows scammy companies to place ads like that

    2. Anybody sending out mass mailings promising 80% off the price of anything is a scammer in my experience 🙂

You get what you pay for and you are paying 200 DKK per day for a trip abroad – set your expectations accordingly.

    3. Just looked at the same one I got in IngeniĂžren. It visits „the 4 most famous world heritage sites“. I had never heard of any of them. Also lots of visits to monestaries, churches/cathedrals and a memorial to mother Teresa. Not really something I feel is particularly relevant for engineers?

My wife sent a picture of it to her mother but reading here I guess we should warn her about it instead.

    4. I have actually used one of these vouchers before, it was a trip to Rhodes and parts of Turkey for 14 days. We ended up paying around 2500 dkk per person. In our experience the trip was really fun! We got to see alot of cultural sites, relax in the evening and of course lots of drinking. I really do not have alot of negative things to say about it, though I will mention that people in our group told us, that TSS trips usually varied alot in quality depending on where you went in the world. I suspect that part of the reason it’s so cheap, is that the trips are outside of popular tourist times, and also the sheer amount of people who end up saying yes to these kind of offers. If you have any more questions, I will gladly answer them.

I doubt it’s a scam. The low price is likely due to it being outside the peak travel season, which is common in months like February or November.

    6. This company send similar offers through a lot of different magazines. I’ve recently had similar offers from Illustreret Videnskab, too.

I have used similar offers in the past, but not this company.

To the best of my knowledge these, too, are not a scam, but they are always off season and sometimes you will be in for a sales-pitch at the places you visit.

I think the main reason for a lot of 1-star reviews are people not reading properly what’s at offer, and expecting something different.

SĂ„dan nogle „don’t take no for an answer“ der presser en til at kĂžbe.

    9. It real and its actually OK for the price. Some of my braver-than-me relatives have tried it.

The do have a couple of visits to “markets” where one is supposed be buy some carpets and cheap leather goods, but, one can sneak out of those easily enough and have dinner.
