      > McCaul’s district, which represents parts of Austin and spans as far east as the Houston suburbs, leans heavily Republican. He handily won reelection in 2024, defeating his Democratic opponent by nearly 30 points.

      It’s a nice thought but it won’t shift the balance in Congress one bit.

      No reps should have 11 terms. Representing your district is a service not a career.

      This is concerning. He was my rep and I thought he sucked until I got redistricted into Wesley Hunt’s district.

      I’d much rather the McCaul types who I disagree with 95% than the true magas who I disagree with 150%

      Rats on a ship. Recent, Charlie Kuek events aside, the GOP should fear the midterms. It could get really, really ugly for them.

      Voted for a bill which made him unpopular in his district so he has to sit out next election. 4D chess indeed.
