    1. The NDP used to be for the blue collar working class. That’s how they got most of their base in the past. Blue collar working class are mostly men. The NDP still seems to be scratching their heads why men lost interest in them, and still have their priorities somewhere else. This leadership race is just the latest example of that. 

      The NDP lost their base because they supported the Liberals on policies causing wage suppression, tax increases and cost of living increases. And in exchange pushed for meaningless (for their blue collar base) policies like dental care and pharmacare. All while being busy playing identity politics.

      They’ll soon be a leftist version of a Max Bernier fringe party if they don’t adjust and realize who their base are. And they’ll deserve it for prioritizing ideology of the few over their base.
