He’s missed the point again though, it’s not whether he has confidence in his top team it’s whether we and them have confidence in him, and the answer is no, 14yrs in the wilderness and this is utter disaster, I’m a life long labour supporter, get Andy Burnham in and stop this bollocks

So they’ll all have resigned or fired by next weekend.
The kiss of political confidence…

A tough spell for Starmer.
Next he’s got a big march today in London. Going to have to judge his response given recent assassination in US and Trump coming over soon.
The whole Mandleson debacle is’t going to be helpful with it all.
Will be interesting to see what happens.

Was this the current one, the one before this one, or the one before that one. Also was he confident in all of those too 😂

It’s amateur hour for the government, it would be funny if we didn’t have a debt crisis

Considering he had full confidence in Mandelson less than a day before sacking him and despite being warned about him would tend to suggest that him having confidence in someone is not a ringing endorsement.
McSweeney in particular is obviously not up to the job, but he seems to be the only thing Starmer genuinely believes in. For whatever reason. It’s already cost him so much. It’s gonna cost him much more.

He’s about the only one then.
I used to like labour. But this incarnation of labour has done some very disappointing things and I won’t be voting for them again until they radically change their leadership.
