I guess these days it is perhaps only Norway and the UK that cares about the Norwegian Sea and the GIUK gap, apart from the Russians and the Americans.
This is really a vital strategic area, both for Europe’s energy supply, but also for Trans-Atlantic supply lines. While anti-American sentiments, understandably, runs strong these days, for my part I’m glad to see the Americans still exercising here.

Nice platforms, but they are both US systems.
It’s going to be a very bad day if Trump had a tantrum and remote grounded the F-35.
Suck that Europe doesn’t have its own stealth fighter to rely on. And this is during a time when everyone is racing towards 6th gen platform. Now Europe air power is an antiquated joke two generations behind the cutting edge.
