      It’s kind of funny how almost all Republicans act as if no Republican could possibly hate fascists, pedophiles, rapists, or xenophobes.

      The *sole* value of conservatism is respect for and obedience to [one’s perception of] traditionally established hierarchy, and hierarchy dictates that those on top (in-groups) are rightfully idolized and receive privileges, credibility, and resources, while those on the bottom (out-groups) are demonized/dehumanized and/or bound by restrictions, scrutiny, and lack of resources.

      To them, the second-greatest injustice imaginable is for those [they perceive to be] on the bottom [of social hierarchy] to have access to the rights, credibility, and resources reserved for those on top. The first greatest injustice is for those on top to be bound by the restrictions, scrutiny, and lack of resources reserved for those on the bottom.

      Conservatives absolutely need an underclass [for society] to demonize and dehumanize in order to maintain [their] hierarchy, and every single one of their policies and rhetoric work to do exactly that.       Every right-wing accusation is a confession. Every single one. Always.

      I think we will see more of his demographic; Gen z, white, male, conservative, doing similar things going forward.

      It’s the age that gets sent to war because they are now „adults,“ brimming with testosterone, and don’t have fully developed frontal lobes/long term thinking.

      They were made a lot of promises for their loyalty.

      Girls would like them; the opposite happened.

      Things would get cheaper and living would get easier; the opposite happened.

      There wouldn’t be any new wars they would have to worry about; the opposite trend is happening.

      Big government would be put in check, corrupt officials ousted, pedophiles arrested; not only is the opposite happening, it’s becoming more apparent that the party they were told to put their faith in is riddled with this.

      Charlie Kirk was a main recruiter of their age group, it’s not shocking in this context that he was chosen.

      Often times when a suspect confesses to murder, the investigator taking the statement will ask why they did it. It will be interesting to see what is made public, if anything, regarding the alleged shooter’s real motive.

      Nobles asked Mace if she would condemn political violence on both sides of the aisle, to which she replied, “We’re talking about Charlie Kirk right now.”

      When a conservative is killed it doesn’t matter if there is a suspect or a motive or anything, they were killed because of their speech. When a liberal is killed it’s because the shooter was mentally ill. I think it a bit ridiculous that the killing has to have been politically motivated, as though people have never killed for notoriety or lunacy or anything else.

      Charlie Kirk’s murder was a tragedy. There is no excuse, but there is an explanation.

      His blood is on the hands of Trump and the people who supported the most divisive President in US history.

      Who honestly can say they didn’t see this (and worse) coming?

      Trump has used his wide reaching platform as the President to continually stoke the flames of hatred and division.

      His supporters constantly walk back and sane-wash all the hate filled, crazy things he says.

      You wanted a divisive, hate speaker to lead this country and now you see the results. Own it.

      It’s sad but predictable that this troubled person is using this young man’s death to encourage even more hatred which obviously will result in more tragedies.

      Of course his followers can also point to some examples of hate speech by irresponsible Dems.
      But make no mistake; Trump has the worldwide platform like no other. With great power comes great responsibility.

      Except for his group of blind partisan followers, the world sees that Trump is unworthy of the power of the office.

      Even if it was a shooter who had voted for Dems in the past, the left isn’t the party who has been actively calling for violence for years and had a line up of politicians saying violence is never ok. Huge difference compared to the right. Sure a bunch of young idiots are celebrating the death, but that’s not what the left is about. It’s also ok to not feel bad about a shitty person being killed when that person actively pushed a hate filled agenda that hurt many normal innocent people.

      There hasn’t been a single democrat with power that uses the rhetoric that Trump or anyone inside the conservative ecosystem uses. Not even a percentile of it.       So weird to keep hearing this right-wing talking point that „the left is the party of murder“ (especially since there is no such party as „the left“).

      The narrative is especially weird considering that only a few years ago the MAGAs were openly celebrating Kyle Rittenhouse because he shot and killed two people at a protest in Wisconsin.

      Now… where did I put my AR-15 lapel pins…?
