It’s kind of funny how almost all Republicans act as if no Republican could possibly hate fascists, pedophiles, rapists, or xenophobes.

Public executions should be a thing, and witnessed by 12 year olds? Gay people stoned because of Leviticus? Civil rights were the problem?

    3. He spread more hate than anyone in recent memory.

      And he targeted vulnerable youth.

I’d never heard of him before he was killed, and now I suspect the administration won’t let me forget him.

I saw comments on a right-wing forum about how „leftists“ are taking Kirk’s words out of context to make him look bad. They posted a video of Kirk’s entire diatribe about how some gun deaths are worth it to have the 2nd amendment „to provide context,“ and it *still* makes him sound terrible, so I’m not sure what their point was…LOL

    6. I guess there are conservatives that hate the 2025 version of 1936. There may be hope for us.

„We must also be real. We must be honest with the population. Having an armed citizenry comes with a price, and that is part of liberty… We need to be very clear that you’re not going to get gun deaths to zero. It will not happen. But I think it’s worth it. I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year, so that we can have the Second Amendment,“ he said.

„Black women do not have brain processing power to be taken seriously. You have to go steal a white person’s slot.“

„I can’t stand the word empathy, actually,“ he said. „I think empathy is a made-up, new age term that does a lot of damage.“

Appearing on Jubilee’s internet show [*Surrounded*](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WV29R1M25n8), Kirk insisted Black people were „better“ in the 1940s under Jim Crow laws.

While debating a college student, Kirk said, „They were actually better in the 1940s. It was bad. It was evil. But what happened? Something changed. They committed less crimes.“

When asked what he would want his daughter to do if she were 10 years old and pregnant following rape. After calling the scenario graphic, he [responds](https://twitter.com/bigukeheree/status/1965867948947681358), „The answer is yes. The baby would be delivered.“

„A man who calls himself trans is wearing ‚woman face,‘ no different than I would wear Black face trying to be a Black person. It’s assuming an identity that isn’t yours.“

      „If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, ‚Boy, I hope he’s qualified.'“

„Democrat women want to die alone without children.“

„Telling how so many pastors were mad that George Floyd overdosed but don’t care a white woman was brutally murdered by a 14 count repeat offender.“

„Now, I will say that for future retirees, people under the age of 45, we should absolutely raise the retirement age. I’m going to say something very provocative. I’m not a fan of retirement. I don’t think retirement is biblical,“

„Thou shall lay with another man, shall be stoned to death.“ from a botched Bible quote

*The Charlie Kirk Show, January 23rd, 2024* “If you’re a WNBA, pot-smoking, black lesbian, do you get treated better than a United States marine?”

*The Charlie Kirk Show, December 8th, 2022*  “Happening all the time in urban America, prowling blacks go around for fun to go target white people, that’s a fact. It’s happening more and more.”

*The Charlie Kirk Show, May 19th, 2023*  “If I’m dealing with somebody in customer service who’s a moronic black woman, I wonder is she there because of her excellence, or is she there because affirmative action?”

“We record all of it so that we put [it] on the internet so people can see these ideas collide. When people stop talking, that’s when you get violence. That’s when civil war happens, because you start to think the other side is so evil, and they lose their humanity.”

A bigot who would stone queers and, if alive, would have been terrified to fly on Air Force 2 if the pilot was a black person. That Charlie Kirk?

At least he died doing what he loved. Being a shallow, spiteful, racist piece of shit.

“I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational.” -Charlie Kirk

      https://www.newsweek.com/charlie-kirk-says-gun-deaths-worth-it-2nd-amendment-1793113

And, here’s the thing: *I* disagree with kirk, about this, as well as basically every position he ever espoused. No gun deaths are tolerable as a „cost“ of the second amendment, not even the death of a repugnant, bigoted, grifter edgelord scumbag like Kirk.

Which isn’t to say we should do away wholesale with the second amendment or gun ownership (I am a gun owner myself), but that we should honestly address the harms guns cause in society and how those harms come about, and take active steps to reduce them, the same way we do with any other dangerous thing in society that we deem worth having, like driving (an example of how we balance risk that he loved to egregiously misrepresent in his „debates“).

The deaths (particularly of children) are not tolerable. They cannot be accepted with shrugging shoulders as some inevitable and just price. That is sick, sociopathic reasoning. They should be eliminated to the maximum extent possible. *That* is prudent and rational

Hey, dont remember who he really was or else that means youre condoning his murder! Or so says MAGA

Please tell me someone has or is putting together a Kirk greatest hits compilation of his best “Hot (Hate) Takes”. Like on loop.

    15. GuaranteedCougher on

As a man who loved the concept of open debate, I think be would be happy to know his death triggered an open debate, on whether or not he was a good person

    16. SpookyBoiJohnson11 on

According to my friends „at the very least he was a father and husband <3“ as if that negates all the terrible stuff he said

    17. Conservatives can fuck right off about this whining about people calling them Nazis, Fascists, Racist, etc. Well assholes, that’s how you act. Kirk spewed a ton of racist and other vile shit (I see a black pilot and I wonder if he’s qualified. His comments about empathy. His target list of college profs. His comments about black officials).

And the right has no end of insults for liberals — commie, marxist, socialist, groomer, etc.

He didn’t deserve to get shot, but fuck him. He was no righteous person. You want to debate policy like taxes, foreign policy, what to do about SS spending etc. Fine. That’s not what his primary thing was– he was spewing culture war bullshit.

    18. player32123 on

I’m so tired of the gaslighting from conservatives. I think his death was abhorrent, but I also think the death of Melissa Hortman and her husband was abhorrent. Yet all I see from the right is talk about how violent the radical left is and how the left wants to kill them all. Like this is somehow a unique problem that only radical leftists kill people for political reasons, and that just could not be farther from the truth.

How can people claim that the left is uniquely violent when there were countless right wingers celebrating the attack on Nancy Palosi’s husband? Including Charlie Kirk himself! How many times has Trump called for violence against people he does not like? Or does that not count because they are „Illegal“ (Like we can even know that with how fast they disappear them.)

I really feels like people are living in two entirely separate realities and they just completely forget events that don’t fit their worldview. I mean democrats are the ones generally pushing for gun control laws to change every time there is a mass shooting, but somehow they are also uniquely responsible for inciting violence? Those are diametrically opposed view points.

Literally the last thing Charlie implied before he died was that Trans people are uniquely responsible for mass shootings. „Too many“ he said when asked about the number of trans shooters. Despite the stageringly overwhelming number of CIS male shooters that represent the actual demographic of people who are over represented in that crime.

Charlie Kirk was killed right after pushing a false narrative in a way that hurts vulnerable people. I don’t celebrate the fact he was killed. I am not glad it happened. But I am not sad that he is no longer telling lies to his millions of followers.

    19. If the posts from the right are to be believed, Charlie Kirk should be considered for sainthood. He was a combat veteran, Nobel laureate, missionary, and personally stopped no fewer than three natural disasters. /s

He really wasn’t well known to the average adult conservative over 35 or so, if at all. My older coworkers had never heard of him at all. So their only knowledge of him was whatever statements right wing news was putting out about him after his death.

The things I have read sound exactly like they were written by someone who knows nothing about him, conservative or not. But then it’s funny to me how all the articles and news coverage about his death and mourning his passage aren’t really highlighting his work and showing clips or quoting him.

    20. What we know about the Charlie Kirk alleged shooter Tyler Robinson so far:

      – White
      – Straight
      – Male
      – Christian
      – Republican
      – Conservative background
      – 2nd Amendment supporter
      – experienced firearms user
      – a good son
      – 22 years old
      – outside of the murder, law abiding

    21. Epicardiectomist on

the only people NOT remembering him for who he was are the turds defending him.

The rest of us know exactly why he choked on a bullet.

    22. HateMyBossSoIReddit on

He was a fascist piece of shit that used a laundry list of debate fallacies to farm gotcha clips to enact billionaire policies destroying the fabric of our society

    23. „Let’s Not Forget Who Charlie Kirk Really Was“ Yes. And, let’s say it out loud. He was a domestic terrorist who wallowed in the standard fringe right grift of saying stupid, vile things out loud to as many dupes as possible bring in more money.

    24. Normalizing that extreme racism, misogyny, xenophobia, transphobia, etc, and just “political opinions” is so dangerous.

These are not opinions. These are hateful and dangerous ideals that harm people. Don’t act like they’re just some casual opinion like preferring your coffee black.

    25. The amount of people I see losing their minds over him like he was some sort of holy angel led me to delete Facebook finally. I condemn Charlie Kirk as a man who was trying to indoctrinate children publicly and for helping conservative extremism flourish in America. I won’t say he deserved to be murdered, but I shed no tears.
